VIDEO: Quick takes exception to Hartnell poke, scrum ensues

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Jonathan Quick did not appreciate Scott Hartnell's puck poke.

That was made apparent when the Los Angeles Kings goaltender caused a bit of a scene following the Columbus Blue Jackets forward's attempt to knock the puck loose after the play had already been blown dead.

Quick was assessed a slashing penalty as a result of the melee, and it likely won't be his last penalty of the year, if his track record is any indication:

Hartnell received a slashing penalty for the initial poke, as well as a roughing minor for his tussle with Quick.
