Eller was benched for much of the second period and finished Friday's win over Calgary with a team-low 15 shifts and 9:09 of ice time.

Analysis:

Eller was on the ice for the Flames' second goal early in the second period and then didn't get off the bench until early in the third period when promptly taking a slashing penalty. The second line has been Montreal's weakest link -- Eller, Alex Galchenyuk and Alexander Semin are the only Habs on the negative side of plus-minus. Semin has already been scratched in favor of Paul Byron. Is Eller next?
