Report: Lubomir Visnovsky signs 1-year deal with KHL club Slovan

Unable to find work in North America, Lubomir Visnovsky will ply his trade in Europe this season.
The veteran defenseman has reportedly signed a one-year deal with KHL club Slovan, according to Igor Eronko of Sport-Express.
Visnovsky spent the past three seasons with the New York Islanders, and attended Chicago Blackhawks training camp on a pro tryout.
He appeared in 883 games with Los Angeles, Edmonton, Anaheim, and New York after entering the NHL in 2000, recording 128 goals and 367 assists.
