Anderson's 2nd straight shutout leads Senators over Flyers

Mike Hoffman had a goal and an assist, Craig Anderson made 36 saves for his second consecutive shutout, and the Ottawa Senators beat the Philadelphia Flyers 4-0 on Saturday night.

Mika Zibanejad, Milan Michalek and Kyle Turris also scored for Ottawa, which has consecutive wins at home for the first time this season. Anderson helped the Senators beat Columbus 3-0 on Thursday night.

Steve Mason made 27 saves for the Flyers, who lost 1-0 at home to San Jose two nights ago.

The Senators had a 3-0 lead after two periods before Turris scored on a rebound at 1:36 of the third period - one second after Ottawa's power play had expired.

Zibanejad scored his first goal in 13 games when he tipped Cody Ceci's point shot past Mason with 44 seconds left in the first period to give the Senators a 1-0 lead.

Hoffman doubled that lead at 1:22 of the second when he converted a 2-on-1 passing play with Bobby Ryan, who created a turnover in his own end to create the rush. Ryan finished the game with two assists.

Michalek put the Senators up 3-0 with 2:35 left in the second when he chipped a puck past Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn at the blue line and then squeezed the puck between Mason's body and right arm.
