Vancouver Canucks defenseman Ben Hutton will be out of the lineup for the first time this season Saturday against the Chicago Blackhawks, after sustaining an undisclosed injury during Wednesday's loss to the Winnipeg Jets.

The 22-year-old has recorded eight assists in 20 games this season. Luca Sbisa will play in his place.

Meanwhile, forward Brandon Sutter will miss his fifth consecutive game due to a lower-body injury. While he's still considered day to day, head coach Willie Desjardins admitted the ailment "has turned out to be a little more than we first expected," according to Brad Zieber of the Vancouver Sun.

Fellow forward Radim Vrbata did not attend practice Friday, and is considered a game-time decision for Saturday's game.
