VIDEO: Price robs Crosby to keep superstar pointless

In a head-to-head battle between two of the NHL's best, it was the glove hand that did the talking.

Late in the Montreal Canadiens' 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday, Sidney Crosby was presented with a glorious opportunity to score his first of the season and tie the game in the process.

Carey Price, however, had other ideas.

The shot on goal was one of four for Crosby, who entered the game without any in his first two appearances. He failed to record a point in the loss, leaving his goal and assist totals at zero to start the season.

This marks the longest he's gone without a point to begin a regular season, after hitting the score sheet at least once by the second game since entering the NHL in 2005.

Price made 30 saves in the win, improving his record to 3-0-0.
