This is a curious move by coach Jack Capuano. Why have your top defensive prospect with the team if you're not going to start him? We will give Capuano the benefit of the doubt here, as perhaps he feels that Opening Night and first game in Brooklyn is too much for the youngster to handle. If this becomes a habit, however, then Capuano will once again have a lot of explaining to do as to how he handles his young players.
