Halak was quoted Thursday as saying, "Hopefully, I'll be back soon." That doesn't sound promising, as it looks like Halak owners will have to search for different goalie options ahead of Friday's contest against the visiting Blackhawks. Thomas Greiss is the presumed starter in the event that Halak cannot give it a go in that game. The Islanders play the 'Hawks again Saturday.
