Raffi Torres: Won't appeal suspension

Torres won't appeal his 41-game suspension, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports.

Analysis:

Considering Torres' history of violent and illegal hits, it's not a surprise that he was levied the long-term suspension. The fact that he didn't appeal now just confirms that he will sit for half the season, and won't be eligible to return to action until Jan. 14 against the Oilers.
