Jesper Fast returning to team's fourth line unit

Fast will start the season on the team's fourth unit reports Andrew Gross of The Record.

Analysis:

Although the team had several openings after saying goodbye to Carl Hagelin and Martin St. Louis in the offseason, it appears Fast will return to the team's fourth line. It's not all bad news as head coach Alain Vigneault will likely tinker all season and the youngster could learn a thing or two playing alongside Dominic Moore and newcomer Jarret Stoll. The 23-year-old Fast has six goals and 14 points through 69 career NHL games.
