Analysis:

Orpik's recovery from off-season wrist surgery is almost complete, although he was unable to take part in any preseason games or practices during training camp. While it may take him some time to get up to speed, all signs are that the 35-year-old stalwart defenseman will be ready to go in time for the season opener.
