Muzzin is ready for the Kings' Wednesday night season opener against the Sharks, Lisa Dillman of LA Kings Insider reports.

Analysis:

On Wednesday it was reported that Muzzin was doubtful for the Kings' season opener with an upper-body injury, so Thursday's news comes as a bit of a surprise. It's great news for Muzzin's owners, however, as they will no longer need to roll with a fill in for the top-pair defender to begin the season. The 26-year-old registered 41 points (10 goals, 31 assists) in 76 games with the Kings in 2014-15.
