Blues name Rob DiMaio director of player personnel

Rob DiMaio has been named director of player personnel for the St. Louis Blues, general manager Doug Armstrong announced Tuesday.

DiMaio has been with the Blues since 2008, and served as the club's director of pro scouting since 2012. He also worked in the Dallas Stars' organization, serving as a scout at all levels, including professional, amateur and junior hockey.

Over the course of his 19-year NHL career, DiMaio appeared in 894 games with seven teams, posting 106 goals and 171 assists to go along with 840 penalty minutes.
