Analysis:

The former first-round pick tallied two points (one goal, one assist) in five exhibitions with Colorado this preseason, and apparently showed enough in camp to secure an Opening Night roster spot with the team. Skille has tallied 61 points (30 goals, 31 assists) in 239 career NHL games, and will likely slot into a bottom-six role with the Avalanche in 2015-16.
