Jets sign Thomas Raffl to 1-year, 1-way contract

The Winnipeg Jets have signed forward Thomas Raffl to a one-year, one-way deal worth $575,000.
Raffl was given permission by his former team, Austrian club EC Salzburg, to sign with the Jets.
The 29-year-old attended Winnipeg's camp on a professional tryout contract.
He scored 26 goals in 52 games with Salzburg last season.
