Calgary Flames head coach Bob Hartley named Karri Ramo the club's opening-night starter Wednesday against the Vancouver Canucks.

Hartley has two capable goalies in Ramo and Jonas Hiller, but it's Hiller who earns more money, making $4.5 million to Ramo's $3.8 million.

Ramo started 32 games last season, and finished with a .912 save percentage and two shutouts. Hiller started 44, and had a .918 save percentage. Both will be unrestricted free agents at season's end.
