The Edmonton Oilers made several moves Monday to finalize their roster.

The team announced that forward Leon Draisaitl has been assigned to the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League, while goaltender Ben Scrivens cleared waivers and will also report to the team's AHL affiliate.

Meanwhile, forward Jordan Eberle and Dillon Simpson were placed on injured reserve. With his impressive preseason and the injury to Eberle, rookie Anton Slepyshev earned a spot on the team's opening-day roster.

The Oilers' roster now sits at 23, with 13 forwards, eight defensemen, and two goaltenders.
