Tampa Bay Lightning forwards Tyler Johnson and Alex Killorn are both day to day with undisclosed injuries, general manager Steve Yzerman told Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times.

Johnson left and did not return in the second period of Saturday's preseason finale, a 3-2 win over the Florida Panthers. Killorn departed with an injury of his own in the third period.

Nikita Kucherov was held out of Saturday's game for precautionary reasons due to a lower-body ailment, while Cedric Paquette has been day to day with a left foot injury for a week.

The Lightning open the regular season at home against the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night.

"I'm hoping that everyone will be ready for Thursday," Yzerman said.
