Calgary Flames forward Jiri Hudler was held out for the remaining portion of Saturday's final preseason contest for precautionary reasons after suffering a lower-body injury, the team announced.
After the game, Flames coach Bob Hartley called the injury "very minor," and said Hudler would have finished the game had it been a regular-season game.
Only Tyler Seguin, Sidney Crosby, Tyler Johnson, and Pavel Datsyuk averaged more output per 60 minutes than Hudler last season.
