The Minnesota Wild have named Frederic Chabot the team's new goaltending development coach.

Chabot will work with the organization's goaltending prospects, including those playing for the AHL's Iowa Wild.

He was the Edmonton Oilers' goaltending coach from 2009 to 2014 and served as a consultant with Hockey Canada and the national junior program prior to coaching in the NHL.

Chabot played five seasons in the league with the Montreal Canadiens, Philadelphia Flyers, and Los Angeles Kings.
