Ex-Blackhawks goalie Raanta was hoping team would be swept in postseason

Apparently not every player on the Chicago Blackhawks' roster was happy with the team's success last season.

While the team was in the midst of winning its third Stanley Cup in six seasons, third-string goaltender Antti Raanta was hoping for a first-round sweep at the hands of the Nashville Predators, according to Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat sports editor Vesa Rantanen.

Raanta played 14 games during the regular season, but found himself as the team's third-stringer behind Scott Darling.

The 26-year-old was traded to the New York Rangers this offseason, where he will play behind Henrik Lundqvist.
