Russian president Vladimir Putin is one powerful man, but his supremacy fails to extend to the ice.
Putin joined Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin and Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evegni Malkin, along with former Russian players Pavel Bure and Alexander Mogilny, for a pickup game with some kids recently. Let's just say an NHL contract won't be forthcoming.
Putin looked to get a breakaway during the game, but failed miserably to capitalize.
Maybe Putin should leave the goal-scoring to Ovechkin and Malkin.
