Sabres hire Dan Lambert as assistant coach

The Buffalo Sabres announced the hiring of Dan Lambert as an assistant coach on Monday.
Lambert, the former head coach of the WHL's Kelowna Rockets, will join Dan Bylsma's staff that already includes Terry Murray and Dave Barr as assistants.
He led the Rockets to an impressive 53-13-6 record and a Memorial Cup final appearance last season, where they were defeated by the Oshawa Generals.
