Bill Foley is all in.

The prospective NHL owner is planning to uproot his diversified Florida-based Fidelity National Financial Ventures firm and relocate to Las Vegas in hopes of promoting his chance in securing a franchise.

"I know the league wants to have local ownership and now I'm here," he told a local Las Vegas TV station.

"I am going to be a local owner. I'm going to be involved in the community. We're helping local charities as part of our hockey endeavor. We're going to be embedded in this community."

Foley added that he continues to receive encouragement from the league.

"You've done a great job. Keep it up. Keep it up," he said.

Foley's Hockey Vision Las Vegas has acquired more than 10,000 season-ticket deposits, while the MGM-AEG Arena continues its construction on the strip.
