New charges have been brought against convicted pedophile Graham James, who is serving time for sex offences committed when he was a coach in the Western Hockey League.

Another player James coached two decades ago came forward with allegations of sexual assault in 2013, and the Saskatchewan RCMP decided to press charges following an investigation. The alleged assault took place when James was with the Swift Current Broncos.

The Swift Current provincial court put the case over to June 19 after a hearing Monday.

James previously served three and a half years in federal prison for other sex offenses from his time with the Broncos, and he's currently serving a five-year sentence for abusing former NHLer Theoren Fleury.

The 62-year-old last coached in 1995-96.
