Stamkos extends scoring streak to 4 games, matches franchise record

Steven Stamkos is suddenly scorching.
The Tampa Bay Lightning captain matched a franchise record, scoring in four consecutive games, and doubled his team's lead on the New York Rangers late in the second period of Game 5, tapping in a beautiful feed from Ondrej Palat.

He now has 14 points in his last 10 games (with a period left to play), his goal coming a little less than five minutes after he set up Valtteri Filppula for the opening goal in Game 5.
