New York Rangers general manager Glen Sather, Steve Yzerman of the Tampa Bay Lightning, and Bob Murray of the Anaheim Ducks are the finalists for the NHL General Manager of the Year Award.

The winner will be announced at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas on June 24.

Sather acquired defenseman Keith Yandle from the Arizona Coyotes and signed blue-liner Marc Staal to a six-year contract extension. The Rangers won the Presidents' Trophy with 113 points.

Yzerman added defenseman Braydon Coburn at the trade deadline and inked both Anton Stralman and Brian Boyle to multi-year deals last July.

Murray won the award with the Ducks last year.

He made a series of moves prior to the deadline this time around, adding forwards Tomas Fleischmann and Jiri Sekac along with defensemen Simon Despres and James Wisniewski.
