Mike Babcock has a new home, but that doesn't mean he won't remember his past.

The head coach, who officially became the new bench boss of the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday, took out an ad with his family in the Detroit Free Press to thank Detroit Red Wings fans for their support during his time with the team.
