Senators' director of player personnel on Lehner: 'He’ll be ready to play here or somewhere else'

Robin Lehner may be the odd man out in Ottawa.

The Senators announced a three-year deal with goaltender Andrew Hammond on Wednesday that could make someone between the pipes expendable.

Craig Anderson, Hammond, Lehner and Matt O' Connor are currently listed as available options for the team and are all under contract.

The Senators' director of player personnel, Pierre Dorion, discussed the goaltending situation with TSN's Ian Mendes on Wednesday.

Dorion thinks Lehner will be ready to play somewhere once he heals from a concussion he suffered midseason.

The 23-year-old Lehner posted a record of 9-12-3 in 25 regular-season games.
