Ferland suffered a torn oblique in Game 4 of the first round.

Analysis:

Ferland played through the injury, logging close to his usual ice time in the final two games of the Flames' first-round series against Vancouver. He went on to play in three of four games in the second round against the Ducks, notching one goal and a minus-2 rating. At this time, it's unclear whether Ferland will need to undergo surgery at some point this offseason, but he's expected to be fully healthy for training camp.
