Crawford will start Game 1 for Blackhawks vs. Wild

Dennis Wierzbicki / USA Today

It looks as though Corey Crawford is back in Joel Quenneville's graces.

The Chicago Blackhawks head coach told reporters Monday that Crawford will be between the pipes for Game 1 against the Minnesota Wild

After starting the first two games in Round 1, Crawford was replaced by backup Scott Darling the rest of the series.

The tides turned for Crawford in Game 6 when Darling was pulled in the first period after giving up three goals on 12 shots. Crawford stopped all 13 shots he faced in relief as the Blackhawks eliminated the Nashville Predators

This will mark the third straight season the Blackhawks and Wild will meet in the postseason. Chicago has won both of those series.
