Capitals' Kuznetsov on 3-point night, Game 5 win: '(The) whole team (is a) celebrity today'

Evgeny Kuznetsov was the first star in the Washington Capitals' Game 5 victory over the New York Islanders on Thursday night, but he downplayed his fame following the 5-1 win.

The 22-year-old center scored a pair of goals - including his first in the NHL playoffs - and added an assist, but Kuznetsov said he wasn't the only star in the game.

Whole team celebrity, indeed.

The team has apparently been giving Kuznetsov some English lessons.

The Capitals pushed the Islanders to the brink of elimination with the victory, securing a 3-2 series lead with Game 6 set for Saturday on Long Island.
