New York Islanders goaltender Jaroslav Halak didn't make it to the end of Game 5 against the Washington Capitals on Thursday.

Halak was replaced by Michal Neuvirth after the starter allowed five goals on 35 shots. Halak's night ended when Jason Chimera scored nine minutes into the third period.

Neuvirth's only postseason experience came in 2011 as a member of the Capitals.
