Analysis:

Both Trocheck and Alex Petrovic will join San Antonio for the AHL playoffs. "It would've been nice to get in the playoffs here; that's what we were all hoping for and shooting for," Trocheck said. "We came up a little short, but San Antonio has a great team down there. It's going to be exciting. There's nothing more fun than playoff hockey, no matter what level you're at. … I think we have a good chance of going far." Trocheck appeared in 50 games for the Panthers this season, registering seven goals and 15 assists.
