Blue Jackets' McElhinney will be in crease against Islanders

Eric Hartline / USA TODAY Sports

Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Curtis McElhinney will be in the crease for Saturday's game against the New York Islanders, Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch reports.

Analysis:

McElhinney had been expected to receive the start after Sergei Bobrovsky was in the net for Friday's win over the Sabres. Bobrovsky's hot play down the stretch has resulted in little action of late for McElhinney, who might not make for a great streaming option due to the lack of activity. He enters play Saturday with a 11-14-2 record, 2.84 GAA, and .913 save percentage across 31 appearances, the last of which came March 18.
