Holtby is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Hurricanes, Alex Prewitt of The Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Given that coach Barry Trotz previously suggested that as long as the Capitals haven't clinched a playoff seed, Holtby was likely to start every game for the team, it's no surprise to see the goalie on track to make his 67th start of the season on Tuesday. Holtby bounced back from a rough outing against the Preds on Saturday to stop 23 of 25 shots in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.
