Wild sign college players Hoffman, Palmquist to entry-level deals

The Minnesota Wild have signed a pair of NCAA players to entry-level contracts.
The Wild signed Vermont goaltender Brody Hoffman and Minnesota State-Mankato defenseman Zach Palmquist on Monday.
Hoffman went 13-6-2 with a 2.06 GAA and a .922 save percentage in 22 games for the Catamounts.
Palmquist registered 29 points in 40 contests in his senior season for the Mavericks, who lost in the opening round of the NCAA tournament last week.
