Rask will be in the crease for Saturday's game against the Rangers, Joe Haggerty of CSN New England reports.

Analysis:

Rask has taken five consecutive losses while conceding three or more goals in three of those outings. Those kind of duds have been increasingly common this season for Rask, who has seen his ratios take a sizable hit from the lofty marks he posted from 2011-13. Even so, Rask is still sitting on a 2.34 GAA and .921 save percentage, numbers that still make him worthy of an activation most nights. He'll look to get back on the winning track against the Eastern Conference-leading Rangers, who will counter with Henrik Lundqvist in the net in his first game back from a neck injury.
