David Perron: (Illness) Will Sit Out Saturday

Perron will miss Saturday's game against the Coyotes with an illness, Shelly Anderson of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Analysis:

Though the Penguins will welcome back two of their top-six forward to the lineup Saturday in Evgeni Malkin (lower body) and Patric Hornqvist (undisclosed), they'll be without the services of another in Perron. After a hot start to his Penguins career upon being acquired from the Oilers in early January, Perron has cooled off considerably over the last few weeks. He's supplied only six points in March, with none coming in his last five games.
