Analysis:

The Capitals had previously ruled Beagle out through just the weekend, but since he's yet to begin practicing with the team, it seems safe to conclude he'll be forced to sit out the final game of the homestand as well. Coach Barry Trotz is more optimistic of Beagle's chances of playing during the road trip to follow, but he'll have to begin taking contact within the next few days to warrant serious consideration for a lineup return during the trip.
