Sharks' Mueller out indefinitely after blocking shot

The San Jose Sharks will be without Mirco Mueller indefinitely after the rookie defenseman was injured blocking a shot off the left hand area in Thursday's win over the Detroit Red Wings.

Mueller's hand was spotted heavily bandaged at the arena Friday. 

Head coach Todd McLellan wasn't willing to put a timeline on his return, but Mueller won't be in the lineup Saturday when the Sharks look to even up their record on the road trip with a win in Philadelphia.
