Kevin Shattenkirk: (Abdomen) Says He's Ready For Saturday

Shattenkirk (abdominal surgery) practiced fully Friday and said he's "ready to go" for Saturday's game against the Blue Jackets, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Shattenkirk skated on the Blues' second defensive pairing next to Barret Jackman and slotted in on the power play, two facts that would seemingly suggest he'll return to the lineup for the first time since Feb. 1. The All-Star blueliner, who accumulated eight goals and 40 points in 49 games prior to requiring surgery, still remains on the team's injured reserve list, but figures to be formally activated following Saturday's morning skate.
