Senators' Hammond, Anderson questionable for pair of weekend games

Questions abound in regards to who will be in the Ottawa crease for a pair of weekend games.

As the Senators convened for Friday's practice, both Andrew Hammond - who suffered his first regulation loss the night before - and Craig Anderson were both clearly suffering the effects of various injuries, putting their availability for Saturday's game in Toronto and Sunday's contest against Florida in doubt.

Hammond has been playing through an undisclosed injury, but skated off the ice in obvious discomfort. Meanwhile, Anderson once again tested his injured blocker hand, but may not be ready for game action.

With Robin Lehner also out, Ottawa may be forced to give Chris Driedger his first career start.

Goaltending has been a strength all season long, even from unexpected sources. With nine games left and a playoff spot on the line, the Senators depth may be further tested at the worst possible time.
