Bruins send Ferlin back to AHL

The Boston Bruins have assigned forward Brian Ferlin back to the AHL's Providence Bruins, general manager Peter Chiarelli announced Friday.

Ferlin made his NHL debut on Feb. 20 and recorded one assist in seven games at the NHL level.

In his first full pro season, the 22-year-old has appeared in 46 games for Providence, notching nine goals and seven assists for 16 points with 36 penalty minutes.
