Pavelec will be in the crease for Thursday's game against the Canadiens, 680 CJOB Sports reports.

Analysis:

Pavelec hasn't turned into a pumpkin yet while guiding the Jets to wins in his last five starts, so he'll continue to function as the team's No. 1 goalie. While Pavelec's career track record shouldn't instill much long-term confidence from his fantasy owners, the goalie's current level of play makes him a reliable activation for the time being. He'll catch a break Thursday in squaring off against Habs backup goalie Dustin Tokarski instead of Vezina Trophy frontrunner Carey Price.
