Wayne Simmonds: Done For Season With Broken Leg
Simmonds will miss the rest of the regular season after suffering a fractured left leg in Wednesday's game against the Blackhawks, CSN Philadelphia reports.
Analysis:
It's not exactly clear how much time Simmonds will need to recover from his broken leg, but he won't play again during the regular season; and with the Flyers a long shot to make the playoffs, he probably will not appear in another game until the 2015-16 campaign. Assuming his recovery goes as planned though, Simmonds should be ready to go when training camp kicks off in September.
