Analysis:

Eight points back of the Jets for the final wild-card spot, the Stars' playoff hopes still remain on life support, but Lehtonen has been instrumental in keeping the team alive this long. Though it's been largely an awful season for him, Lehtonen has won eight of his nine starts in March while compiling a 1.98 GAA and .925 save percentage. He was only to narrowly escape with a victory his last time out against a horrible Buffalo squad, but with his inspired play on the whole of late makes it worthwhile to keep him active Wednesday.
