Oilers' Andrew Ference out Wednesday vs. Avalanche

The Edmonton Oilers will be without captain Andrew Ference when they face the Colorado Avalanche Wednesday.
Ference left Monday's game against the Winnipeg Jets with a lower-body injury after taking a hit from Chris Thorburn early in the first period. He did not practice with the team on Tuesday.
