Ottawa Senators defenseman Mark Borowiecki has returned to the game against the Philadelphia Flyers after taking a hard spill against the boards.
Borowiecki lost an edge as he prepared to hit Flyers forward Vincent Lecavalier and landed face first into the corner boards.
The defenseman was helped off the ice and immediately went to the team's dressing room. Borowiecki returned late in the third period.
Borowiecki has nine points in 48 games.
