Dennis Wierzbicki / USA Today

Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Johnny Oduya is on the mend.

Oduya joined his teammates in practice Friday for the first time since suffering an upper-body injury last month.

The blue-liner hasn't played since sustaining the injury in a loss to the Boston Bruins on Feb. 22, missing the last four games.

Oduya has five points in 60 games and ranks fourth on the team in average time on ice at 20:05.
